Montreal, May 1,2017 — dada communications is launching today a large campaign to introduce Unibroue’s 25 year celebrations. Unibroue is well-known for its legendary labels depicting scenes from the Quebecois folklore. The campaign, on air for six weeks, includes three videos in which emerging local stand-up comics present the revamped tales in a humorous way. Five illustrators will also present their own versions of the stories relating to the microbrewery’s beers on five giant frescos displayed in as many key sites in Montréal. Many more activities will be launched in the coming months.
The campaign depicts in a humorous fashion, with three creative executions, the stories behind its refermented ales: Blanche de Chambly, Maudite and Éphémère Sureau. Three emerging stand-up comics, namely Jay Du Temple, Marie-Lyne Joncas and Arnaud Soly, star in the campaign airing from May 1 to June 15 on social media and Tou.tv and Radio-Canada.ca web platforms. Consumers will also enjoy unique creations by Jason Botkin (@robotkin), Rupert Bottenberg, Jérémie Lemarbre (@Mr.Crocks), Melody Lehoux (@melolhx) and Raphaële Bard (@dorke)on display for three weeks in the streets Montreal and in the metro system.
ʺTo celebrate our 25th anniversary, we wanted to thank our consumers by giving them a voice. This campaign is inspired by stories, suggestions and pictures we receive from our fans every week. We wanted to give a consumer’s stories a platform and add a touch of the typical Quebec humour.ʺ says Lisiane Jobidon, Brand Manager for Unibroue.
